Holly-Hunter
Holly Hunter was an American actor who was famous in the film Broadcast News The Firm The Piano The Incredibles. Holly Hunter was awarded numerous prizes, including an Oscar for her movie Piano. The successful actress began her career in acting in the theatre with an array of Broadway and Off-Broadway projects. She has had a passion for acting from the time when she was in the high school. Her first role in a show in the fifth grade was as Helen Keller. Following a bout of Mumps, she was deaf on one side of her ears. But, it didn't stop her from pursuing her dream to become an actor. In her teens She studied acting and eventually moved into New York City. She ran into Beth Henley in an elevator and they collaborated on Broadway Crimes of the Heart the first movie Hunter made. As she relocated into Los Angeles, Hunter tried to land movie roles. A supporting role was secured for her in Swing Shift. She has since appeared in a variety of television series and movies throughout a span of more than three decades. Holly Hunter is a Hollywood Walk of Fame famous person and has been awarded the Women in Film Lucy Award.
